Your first tattoo

If it's your first time, the hardest part is usually the deciding. Once you're in the chair, we go at your pace — no rushing, no pressure. Here's what the day looks like.

  1. Start with a conversation

Send us your idea or walk in during open hours. We'll talk through placement, size, and what will still read well years from now. There's no charge to think it through together.

  2. The day of

Eat a real meal beforehand and come hydrated. Wear something comfortable that gives easy access to the area you're getting tattooed. Bring a reference or two if you have them.

  3. In the chair

You'll be in a private, linen-curtained station. Your artist will place a stencil and check the position with you before any needle touches skin — nothing happens until it looks right to you. You can take breaks whenever you need one.

  4. Healing

Your artist will wrap the piece and walk you through aftercare in person. In general: keep it clean, follow the washing and moisturizing routine you're given, and keep it out of direct sun and soaking water while it heals. If anything looks off, call us.

Common questions

Does it hurt?

Some, and it depends on the placement and the person. Most first-timers are surprised by how manageable it is — and by how quickly you settle in once you start. We check in with you the whole way through.

How do I book?

Send a note through the Visit page or give us a call. For a tattoo you'll set an appointment; for a consult or to browse flash, you can just walk in while we're open.

Can I bring my own idea or reference?

Absolutely. Reference images, a rough sketch, a story behind the piece — all of it helps your artist design something that's truly yours. Every tattoo here is custom.

What about pricing?

It varies with size, placement, and detail, so we'll give you a clear sense of it during your consult. Ask us — we'd rather talk it through than quote you a number that doesn't fit the piece.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes — walk in any time we're open (Tuesday–Saturday, 12–8pm) for a consultation or to pick a flash piece. Full custom tattoo sessions are by appointment.
